Pronounced "Ha-Lay-O" the JALEO is a high resolution, multi-layered compositing, effects and non compressed non linear editing and finishing system. Jaleo delivers the highest quality images by working in YUV color space and eliminates the need for unnecessary (RGB) color space conversions. This prevents the introduction of unwanted artifacts that hinder image quality and digital video performance. Look out Smoke, Flame and Inferno, JALEO delivers non compressed, multi stream 601 or single stream HDTV with real time effects, combining the speed of traditional post production technologies with the flexibility and performance of a high-end digital production system. JALEO is resolution independent and works with film resolutions at variable frame rates, including IMAX to 48fps. JALEO was designed by production people for production people.
